We are excited to kick off our referral program, Referrals for a Cause. As a small business, we value the power of community, so we are launching a referral program that gives back – in your name, not ours! It’s our way of saying thank you and sharing in what matters to you.
Simply refer a household or business and we’ll donate $10 on your behalf to one of the following local Richmond charities.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Have your referral contact us and request and receive a quote
- We will contact you directly for your choice of charity
- We will make the $10 donation in your name
- We hope you will make a direct donation, too. Click the Donate more buttons below.
CHARITIES:
Health Brigade (formerly Fan Free Clinic)
Health Brigade provides quality health services, especially to those least served, in a compassionate and non-judgmental environment. They are proud to be an inclusive organization and they do not discriminate in hiring practices, services or policy with regard to sex, race, color, age, national origin, religion, disability, genetic information, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, citizenship, pregnancy or maternity, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable national, federal, state or local law.
DONATECARITAS helps our most vulnerable neighbors break the cycles of addiction and homelessness to reclaim their dignity. They provide effective, permanent solutions to individuals and families in the Metro Richmond area.
DONATEFeedMore
FeedMore is Central Virginia’s core hunger-relief organization comprised of programs like the Central Virginia Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, the Mobile Pantry and Kids Cafe. Spanning nearly one-third of the state, across 34 counties and cities, FeedMore serves more than 200,000 individuals in the region’s most vulnerable populations – children, families and seniors.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels is focused on individuals who have no reliable means for maintaining a healthy diet. The Meals on Wheels program helps keep homebound seniors independent and in their own homes for as long as possible.
Meals on Wheels reduces isolation and reassures and comforts families who live far from loved ones, providing recipients with a friendly smile and that important safety check, making the program extend far beyond the meal. Pet food is also delivered monthly for clients with dogs or cats.
DONATEART 180
ART 180 creates and provides art-related programs for young people living in challenging circumstances, encouraging personal and community change through self-expression. Based in Richmond, Art 180 partners with other nonprofit organizations in order to serve youth, ages 8 to 18.
ART 180 also operates an art center for teens, called Atlas, in the Downtown Arts & Culture District. Through their programs, youth discover ways they can positively engage in and influence their surroundings.
DONATESanctuary Rescue
Sanctuary Rescue is a small, foster-based dog rescue located in Midlothian, Virginia. They consist of dedicated animal lovers who open their homes to foster those that have been left behind. They pull dogs from high-kill shelters where they would otherwise not stand a chance. Sanctuary Rescue specializes in pregnant and nursing mothers, orphans and neonates who are especially vulnerable in shelters.
Sanctuary Rescue isn’t just any rescue. They provide high-quality care for each and every dog they take in.
